Liberals tell me this: More people die each year from car accidents than shootings, why are we regulating guns?

More people each year die from car accidents and prescription medications, why are we regulating guns? You aren't trying to regulate cars and how fast they can go, or how powerful prescription medications can be. I want a true, honest answer from someone. I want to see what you can come up with.
