Can you sync songs from your iTunes into a Mp3 that Apple didn't make?

I have a Phillips Mp3, and a ton of songs on iTunes. Can I plug my Mp3 into the computer and sync the songs from iTunes into it? Or do I need to buy an iPod Touch or something to sync my songs from iTunes? Thanks!
