School searching students?

im doing a debate in my class and i'm doing the pros of " should students have the same search and sezurie rights as anyone else" meaning yes should students be treated the same as someone outside of school. i know invasion of privacy is one, but im still stuck. my opponent is probably going to say something like " students should be searched without warrants because of school shootings that happend in the past" how would i counter that? please give me facts and your opinion on my topic! and no links please :)
